The Miami Heat have revealed a new alternate uniform for a themed home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on 18 November, staged in partnership with video game publisher Rockstar Games.
According to ESPN, the event, billed as "A Night in Vice City", will take place at the Kaseya Center a day before Grand Theft Auto VI is due to be released on 19 November.
The Heat have used "Vice City" branding for several years, but ESPN describes this as the franchise's most ambitious effort with the theme so far. As well as the new kit, the club plans to lay down a Vice-themed court and run a range of activities for supporters on the night.
The jerseys, revealed on Friday, update the team's earlier "Vice" alternates and include references to both the game and Travis Scott's Cactus Jack brand. The black Swingman version carries pink and white detailing, the words "Vice City" on the front, Scott's trademark reversed Nike Swoosh and a "VI" marking for the game.
Near the bottom of the shirt sit six pink stars and Cactus Jack branding, along with a tag bearing the names of Rockstar Games, the Heat and Cactus Jack. ESPN reports that both the on-court and Swingman editions will go on sale in limited numbers on the night of the game.
A news release from the organisers said the occasion would "transform the Kaseya Center into Vice City", reflecting the Miami-inspired setting of the new game.
The Heat began promoting the event on Thursday by switching on "Welcome to Vice City" signage on the arena roof. The club said further details would be announced in the coming weeks alongside Rockstar Games.
The match against the Bucks will be shown on ESPN.
