MotoGP will take centre stage alongside Formula 1 at the United States Grand Prix this weekend, with four high-performance motorcycles set to take to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) for a special demonstration aimed at introducing more American fans to the sport.
The 20-minute showcase is scheduled for Saturday at 11:40am local time in Austin, Texas, giving spectators at the F1 event an opportunity to experience the speed and sound of MotoGP machinery up close.
With more than 400,000 spectators expected at the Grand Prix, the demonstration offers a valuable opportunity for MotoGP to reach a wider audience in the United States. Liberty Media, which owns both championships, has been looking to strengthen the sport's presence in the American market and build interest ahead of its future events in the country.
Four riders will represent different manufacturers during the showcase, led by MotoGP Hall of Famer Dani Pedrosa on a KTM. The lineup also includes Nicolo Bulega on a Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso on a Yamaha and Lorenzo Savadori on an Aprilia.

Bulega, the reigning WorldSBK champion, is scheduled to make his MotoGP debut in 2027, making his appearance in Austin another opportunity for fans to see the Italian rider in action on a prototype machine.
The demonstration comes while the MotoGP championship is competing in Australia, but the series will still have a strong presence at COTA throughout the F1 weekend.
Pedrosa said riding at the Austin circuit is always a special experience and expressed his enthusiasm for giving fans a closer look at MotoGP's speed, sound and performance.
Beyond the on-track action, MotoGP will also operate a dedicated fan zone featuring motorcycle displays and opportunities for fans to engage with riders. Activities are planned from Thursday through Sunday, allowing the championship to connect with spectators beyond the demonstration itself.
The initiative also serves as a preview of MotoGP's planned return to COTA for the 2027 United States Grand Prix, scheduled for April 23 to 25.
By bringing its machinery and riders to one of F1's major events in America, MotoGP hopes to attract new followers and raise awareness of the championship ahead of its next visit to Austin. The crossover showcase highlights Liberty Media's efforts to build connections between its two racing series and expand their combined appeal to motorsport fans.
