World No. 1 Anna Leigh Waters is heading back to the Philippines for an exhibition appearance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday, 9 December.
According to Pickleball News Asia, the event, titled "IAM Experience: Anna Leigh Waters", is being staged by health and wellness company IAM Worldwide, which counts the American star as its Global Sports Ambassador. The programme at the venue known as the Big Dome is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
Organisers say the afternoon will feature athletic exhibitions, interactive activities, musical performances and celebrity guests, with Waters as the main attraction.
IAM Worldwide said it chose the coliseum because of the strong public response to her first trip to the country, wanting to give more fans the chance to watch her in person. "We quickly realized that an ordinary venue simply wouldn't suffice," the company said in a statement.
Access to the event will not be sold in the conventional way. Admission is being bundled with the purchase of selected IAM Worldwide product packages, with tickets collected from the firm's head office and authorised branches across the Philippines. Registered IAM Worldwide members were given priority access from 5 November, with the wider release following on 9 November.
The December date marks the second visit by Waters to the Philippines within a few months. Her earlier trip, in mid-October 2026, attracted local players, junior athletes and fans. During a press conference at the Dusit Thani Manila on 15 October, she revealed she would be coming back before the end of the year.
Waters reportedly cited the hospitality and enthusiasm for pickleball she encountered in the Philippines as reasons behind her decision to return.
IAM Worldwide said the partnership allows it to tap into the rapid growth of pickleball in Southeast Asia while promoting the role of nutrition in athletic performance.
